State Soccer Representation

A special mention to ESSA’s very own u16, Kayleigh Weber, who is representing Florida State Olympic Development Program Team in California this week. Kayleigh will proceed to compete against the very best players and teams from other states in the 03/04 age group, to which we all will be wishing her the very best of luck… we know you’ll make us all very proud!

Alongside Kayleigh, will be a select group of players that range as far as Miami, Jacksonville and Naples; this opportunity is only offered to the select few therefore a huge achievement for both Kayleigh and her family.

ESSA Academy Director, Adam Murry, was delighted when he heard the news, congratulating Kayleigh and wishing her well for the event. “The opportunities for Kayleigh have no limits for what she is capable of achieving”, he went on to say. ESSA are cheering you on from Florida!

The Florida Youth Soccer Association’s ultimate goal is to identify players for its men’s and women’s youth national team of which the selection process to even be considered for such opportunity is only awarded to those worthy enough. State, regional and finally national trials will be held in order to reach the dream of national team level and represent the USA – a task that Kayleigh has in her sights and everyone at ESSA will continue to support her with.

ESSA Head of Coaching and Kayleigh’s age group coach Shaun Brooks was informed about Kayleigh’s achievements to which he went on to congratulate Kayleigh and her family and wished her all the best with her upcoming games
