ESSA’s Director of Operations Sarah Murry accepts invite to join The Greater Dade City Chamber of Commerce Education Committee.




Thanks to local sponsors, the Education Committee awards four $1,000 College Scholarships to graduating Seniors from Pasco High each year chosen by the Education Committee and hosts monthly Citizen of the Month Ceremonies recognizing citizens from 12 local Schools : Academy at the Farm, East Pasco Adventist Academy, Saint Anthony Catholic School, Centennial Elementary School, Lacoochee Elementary School, Pasco Elementary School, Rodney B. Cox Elementary School, San Antonio Elementary School, Centennial Middle School, Pasco Middle School, James Irvin Education Center, and Pasco High School.


Citizens are honored by The Greater Dade City Chambers Citizen of the Month program during the months of October – April (except December). Each citizen is chosen by their teachers for their achievement, exemplary effort, contribution to their school, family and community.


Monthly Breakfast Ceremonies bring Citizen of the Month citizens, their families, Teachers and Principals together to share each Citizens achievements and giving recognition the exceptional example they set to their peers within the Community.

During the ceremony Citizens are presented with Certificates of Achievement and Letters from local and state officials. Along with an “In the Bag” full of goodies compiled by the Education Committee, various gifts from businesses who sponsor and support the program.


“I’m very grateful to be invited onto the Education Committee and looking forward to working with The Chamber, local businesses and schools, through their great contributions make this program a fantastic way to honor the citizens within the community.” said Sarah.


Working with Pasco Education Foundation who help make these scholarships possible for students. The Education committee review applications and award four scholarships to graduating seniors of Pasco High School who have applied and met certain criteria through a competitive process. Chosen Students will be notified and attend The Chamber Scholarship Presentation May 19 at the Chamber’s Monthly Breakfast.


Pasco High Students may apply for one of four $1,000 Scholarships at from Dec. 1, 2018 – Jan. 31, 2019.

ESSA FC has a core philosophy that recognizes duty to support the local soccer community within selected projects and programs. It is important to ESSA to enable the Academy and its members to be within the heartbeat of the soccer community and share experiences with groups that the center can support.
